Let's take a few moments to appreciate the hair flip, MLB's newest sensation

We are no strangers to the bat flip that took the baseball world by storm, but there is something else that has been trending in MLB: The hair flip.
Much like the bat flip, these occur after a great play -- or whenever a player just need to get their locks out of their face. Major Leaguers across the country have taken part, so we've decided to compile some of the major hair flips that have occurred so far this season. You're welcome.
Ben Gamel had one of the most impressive hair flips of the season because he did not do it on purpose and made a great play in the process.

Bryce Harper has great hair, we all know that. During the All-Star Game presented by Mastercard on Tuesday, the Nationals' outfielder made an awesome play and finished it off the best way he knows how -- with a hair flip.

Fellow National League All-Star Yadier Molina tried to follow Harper's lead and do a hair flip with his bleachy 'do. It was ... interesting. 'A' for effort though.

Tyler Motter also sports the long hair look and when All-Star MVP Robinson Cano wants to join you in anything, you do it -- no questions asked.

Motter also safely made it to second during a Spring Training game and, yes, gave the crowd a hair flip.
