Lance McCullers Jr. wasted no time and was getting ready for Game 7 as soon as Game 6 ended
The hot dogs were still warm, the fans hadn't made it out of the parking lot and the postgame shows were just starting after the Dodgers' 3-1 victory in Game 6 of the World Series on Tuesday ... and there in the outfield was Lance McCullers Jr.
With the winner-take-all Game 7 now officially on the horizon -- not too surprising considering it's the first World Series in 40 years featuring two 100-win teams -- McCullers decided he didn't want to waste any time getting his work in before his second start.
You guys think @LMcCullers43 is ready for Game 7?

He's getting loose NOW. pic.twitter.com/PY2GMCRHsy
McCullers will be looking to do what he did in Game 3, when he defeated the Dodgers after giving up three runs in 5 1/3 innings. Assuming he's going to be following the same game plan, expect to see plenty of knuckle-curves diving low and out of the zone.
UPDATE: McCullers tweeted that he was just getting in regular work before his big start.
Thank you 🙌🙌. I didn't throw Pre game because I was in the pen for late innings tonight so I had to get my work in post game. Nothing else. https://t.co/2BOr50YxXJ
