But this homer was extra special, considering Cubs broadcaster Jim Deshaies predicted Bryant's homer before he hit it.
When it happened, as seen in the clip atop this post in full, it was bedlam in the booth, with Deshaies' partner Len Kasper clearly quite excited about the circumstances. He even shouted "mic drop!" a few times, which is totally appropriate.
We all predict things in baseball games, but they usually don't end up happening. This, as well as announcing your own foul ball catch in the booth, is up there in terms of top-tier in-game broadcaster activities.
