Khris Davis caps walk-off grand slam with helmet jump shot that would make Steph Curry jealous
A's outfielder Khris Davis isn't intimidated by the Coliseum's less-than-hitter-friendly confines, and on Tuesday he made that as clear as possible.
The A's beat the Rangers, 8-5, thanks to his heroics, which included three home runs -- the most dramatic being a walk-off grand slam that sailed into the left-field bleachers.
Grand slams mean 40% off pizza
And yes, the A's radio call was appropriately ecstatic:
After a night as grand (sorry) as that, how would you celebrate? After all, the game featured seven home runs (one of which featured Adrian Beltretaking a knee) and two blown saves.
Well, you could channel your next-door neighbors, Stephen Curry and the reigning NBA champion Warriors, by taking a jump shot with your helmet ... before having Gatorade dumped on you and two pies smashed in your face by a bouncing Josh Reddick:
Can we see that 3-pointer again?
Yes, that's definitely one way to mark the occasion emphatically.
