Kevin Pillar climbed the wall to steal a home run from Nicholas Castellanos

A mind-over-matter approach to life can be helpful when attempting to overcome adversity, but the outlook has its limits. No matter how much you believe you can run through a wall, you're going to find that the wall won't let you through because, well, it's a wall and that's what they do.
In the ninth inning of Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Tigers, Blue Jays center fielder Kevin Pillar may have mentally turned the Rogers Centre wall into a ladder. Though it looked like Nicholas Castellanos had hit a home run to extend the Tigers' lead, Pillar leapt, planted his foot on the imaginary ladder rung in the wall and brought it back.

As Pillar showed, the wall doesn't have to be something that gets in the way of an outfielder trying to make a catch. If you use it the right way, it can be an asset.
