Kevin Kiermaier loses fly ball in the lights, sadly realizes it's a home run
Kevin Kiermaier can get to just about anything. Behind his head, even over the wall -- if there's a fly ball in his zip code, he's on the case. So, despite crushing a pitch to deep center during Saturday's Rays-Pirates game, David Freese knew he needed something a little extra to sneak it by the glove of the Outlaw.
His brilliant solution? Just hide the ball in the lights. Apparently, not even Kiermaier can catch what he can't see:
Look on the bright side, Kevin -- sure, the realization that the ball was, in fact, 30 feet over the center-field wall was depressing, but at least you didn't scale any buildings for nothing.
