Kevin Kiermaier literally left hanging on Kendrys Morales' catwalk home run

Kiermaier literally left hanging on catwalk HR

On Thursday night, Miguel Sano tried to blast a ball through the roof of Tampa Bay's Tropicana Field, winding up with a double after the ball got trapped in the catwalk -- despite Statcast projecting this one to land 409 feet from home plate were it not for those meddling kids, err, metal poles.

On Friday, the Rays' catwalk reared its head again. In the top of the third inning, the Royals' Kendrys Morales drove another ball high off the catwalk, though this time the blast was ruled a home run. Which is a good call --- the projected distance was an absurd 442.64 feet.

More importantly though, we got to see Kevin Kiermaier show off some Michael Jordan-esque hangtime as he hung on the wall waiting for it to come down -- only to watch the ball land roughly 50 feet away from him.

But just look at his perfectly placed right leg! Tell me that Kiermaier isn't making quite the case to be included in "Black Swan 2: None More Black" with this front attitude

We also think he makes an impressive addition to this motivational poster:
