Justin Verlander insists he predicted the wildest play of 2018
Tuesday's Astros-A's game gave us one of the most hilarious and unlikely walk-offs in recent baseball history when Alex Bregman chopped one in front of home plate and then ... chaos:
No one could have possibly predicted that Bregman's slow roller would result in a walk-off victory just moments later.
Called it. Said “@ABREG_1 is gonna tap it foul, its gonna spin back fair, catcher picks it up to tag Breg but hes gonna matrix it which then the ball is thrown at the ump, catchers gonna pick it up and rifle it to the back of Bregs head and the ball goes into RF. Tucker scores”

We'll just have to take his word for it.

Beau Burrows is one of the top pitching prospects in the Tigers system, so we may see him making noise in the big leagues at some point in the near future. But for now, his television appearances are limited to him allowing hits to Tim Tebow in Minor League All-Star games:
Finally made it on SportsCenter 👌🏻 https://t.co/mrRGNslAL1

Mariners outfield prospect Josh Stowers dropped some amusing baseball wisdom:
Baseball is an interesting game cause ya know one week you can catch barrels then the next week you’re 0-20 and swinging a sword and all it takes is a blooper where you get your thumbs blown off to get back on track 😂😂

Reds pitching prospect Packy Naughton -- yes, Packy -- has some good flow, and wants to make sure you know that his in-game hair isn't necessarily his best:
I promise my hair doesn’t normally look like that https://t.co/G6FHiDnPaf
