Johnny Field lived up to his name with an awesome diving catch to rob a hit from Chris Young

When the Rays called up outfielder Johnny Field to make his MLB debut back in April, they had to know that the potential was there for some terrific jokes. Fortunately for them, those one-liners are well-earned, as Field can really, well, field.
Field first showed off his defensive prowess when he made a remarkable catch in foul territory against the Rangers' Ronald Guzman on April 17:

Fast-forward one month later, and Field's glove continues to impress. The Rays beat the Angels on Friday night, 8-3, but in the bottom of the second, Chris Young lifted a quickly-sinking line drive toward Field in right.
Field raced in ...

... and made a fantastic play to end the inning and keep Shohei Ohtani from scoring, all while managing to avoid a faceplant.
We'll go ahead and say it -- with Johnny, the Rays really have the Field covered.
