Joey Votto had to laugh after hitting the deck during Ross Stripling's butcher-boy hit attempt

Saturday night went pretty well for Joey Votto. He had a two-hit night in the Reds' 5-3 win over the Dodgers, ensuring a victory in the four-game series at Dodger Stadium. Votto did face a slight bit of adversity in the second inning though, when he was trying to defend a likely bunt from Dodgers pitcher Ross Stripling. On the first offering from Homer Bailey, Votto charged toward the first-base side of the pitcher's mound -- only to see Stripling pull back and try the old "butcher boy" play. That required a quick change in strategy for Votto:
Crisis averted, and thankfully, Votto could laugh it off. No injuries to see here! All good.
