Joey Votto had a little fun messing with Yasmani Grandal during his at-bat

Joey Votto loves to have fun -- he's pretty much synonymous with the word. And on Friday night, during the Reds-Dodgers game in Los Angeles, he reminded us that any time is a good time to playfully mess around with your opponents. During the top of the first on a 1-1 pitch from Kenta Maeda, Votto foul-tipped a ball into the dirt. Yasmani Grandal was there to pick it up, or attempt to, as it rolled toward the third base line. And there was Votto right behind him, to make sure he grabbed it before Grandal:
He snagged the ball from Grandal -- whom the Reds took in the first round of the 2010 draft -- with an almost hockey-like move -- but with a smile, returned the ball to its rightful owner. Another day of Votto shenanigans.
