Joey Gallo hit homers over the batter's eye in Texas on back-to-back nights

Joey Gallo hit two homers on Tuesday night against the Mariners, but it was his first blast that really made fans' heads turn. He squared up an offering from Erasmo Ramírez in the fourth inning and demolished the ball to dead-center field, all the way over the batter's eye:

According to Statcast, Gallo's clout came to rest a distant 456 feet away.
Hitting just one homer over the batter's eye in August simply wouldn't do, though. The very next day in the very same inning, Gallo stepped up to bat against Aríel Miranda. To the amazement of all, he hit it farther:

The ball landed in the right-center field plaza area -- again above the batter's eye. This time, the measured distance was 460 feet, and the Rangers went on to win, 5-1. "I don't feel like I'm in a groove or anything. I just feel like I'm getting a pitch to hit and not missing it," Gallo said to MLB.com's Sam Butler. "That's it, just things going my way, that's all."
Gallo has been in the Majors all year long, and yet teammates can still hardly believe his power.

It seemed like even nature rebelled against Gallo crushing such remarkable dingers.

The Rangers might have gotten the bug out of Gallo's eye, but the batter's-eye-bashing bug is still clearly with him.
