Javier Baez lived up to his nickname by making a magical, over-the-head catch in the outfield

He's called "El Mago" -- Spanish for "the magician" -- for the seemingly supernatural things he can do on the baseball field. He even has the moniker stitched onto his glove, because a magician is not a magician without the tools of his trade. He is Javier Baez and he makes believers of us all.
Facing the Angels on Friday afternoon, Baez raced backward and, back to the infield, robbed Andrelton Simmons of a base hit.

Maybe now Simmons knows what it feels like when he does it to the opposition.
