James Paxton got to meet the eagle that attacked him last year
It was, arguably, the most memorable moment of the 2018 season. There was James Paxton, ace left-hander of the Mariners, minding his own business in the outfield, when, in a scene ripped from "The Birds" or "Birdemic: Shock and Terror," an eagle landed upon him.
He stood his ground where a lesser person would flee in terror. It was beautiful:
Now on the Yankees, Paxton was given his chance to squash his beef with the eagle. In a video for "America's Perchtime," Paxton and the eagle met. Though we didn't get to hear their conversation, it looks like things are all good between Big Maple and the eagle. Check out the video below:
