Before throwing a no-hitter, Jake Arrieta paid tribute to Prince
Thursday's unfortunate news of music/pop culture icon Prince passing away at the age of 57 hit the league hard. The Purple One's hometown Twins paid tribute with a colorful homage at Target Field, but Cubs ace Jake Arrieta raised the bar even higher.
Arrieta notched his second no-hitter in less than nine months in Chicago's 16-0 win over the Reds (who are now kindred spirits with the Dodgers) just a few hours after issuing a tweet dedicated to Prince:

Here's hoping the Cubs blasted "Let's Go Crazy" in the clubhouse during their postgame revelry, because it's basically the musical equivalent of this:
