Serial thief Jacoby Ellsbury pulls off straight steal of home

Awareness is everything, and on Friday night Jacoby Ellsbury demonstrated just how valuable an asset it is for a baserunner.
With two outs in the fifth inning of their matchup with the Rays, Ellsbury's Yankees found themselves down a run, 3-2. With the count full to Brett Gardner, Ellsbury bolted toward home plate right as lefty Matt Moore began his wind-up -- and it worked to perfection. Moore hurried a throw home but it was far too late.

As you might expect, this wasn't Ellsbury's first straight steal of home. Back in 2009 as a member of the Red Sox, he caught Andy Pettitte unaware in a bases-loaded, two-out situation:

MLB.com's Bryan Hoch noted that Ellsbury's impressive play was the first straight steal of home carried out by a Yankee since Derek Jeter on May 5, 2001 against the Orioles. 
Ellsbury's theft of home was the first of its kind this season, and the first we've seen since Elvis Andrus of the Rangers pulled one off against Kevin Quackenbush and the Padres last September:
