The IronPigs will sparkle with the glory of baseball's first-ever reflective jersey

While some teams are content to simply wear clothes, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs choose to push forward the realm of uniform science. The Triple-A affiliate of the Phillies has already pitted cheesesteak lovers against each other (were you team "wit" or "witout"?), somehow turned bacon into a logo and are now the first team to use reflective technology in their jerseys.
Next season, when a flashbulb pops, the logo, caps and arm patches will glitter and sparkle in the light. As the team explained in a press release:
"The new on-field jersey uses reflective material that was formulated via low candle power that allows it to reflect and illuminate vividly when in close proximity to flash photography."

Wilbur is just lucky these jerseys weren't around when "Charlotte's Web" came out. Otherwise "Humble Pig" would have been replaced with "IronPigs" in bright, reflective webbing.
