Aaron Hicks' double rolled through an open bullpen door -- and Michael Conforto wound up on the other side

There are things you expect to see in a baseball game, and then there are things you don't. A lot of what happens on the field in a given game falls under "standard baseball moment" territory. 
It's this familiarity with the actual, physical on-field sequences that make the odd or unexpected that much more amusing and entertaining. Take, for example, what happened in the first inning of the Yankees' 4-3 win over the Mets at Citi Field. 
Aaron Hicks laced a line drive to right-center, splitting outfielders Michael Conforto and Jay Bruce and rolling straight through an open bullpen door. Conforto's momentum carried him through that same door, creating quite a scene:
