Jameis Winston: Heisman Trophy winner, Texas Rangers draft pick

You may know Jameis Winston, the Florida State QB who was honored with the Heisman Trophy last night. But do you know Jameis Winston, baseball star? 

The pitcher/outfielder was a standout at Alabama's Hueytown High School in 2011 -- hitting .370, posting a 7-2 record and earning numerous national honors. He continued his baseball career with the Seminoles last spring, making 32 starts and producing highlight-type plays like this:

But before accepting his scholarship to FSU, Winston was selected by the Rangers in the 15th round of the 2012 MLB Draft. Texas also took Russell Wilson in Thursday's Rule 5 Draft and has taken a special liking (along with much of MLB) to football players in the past:
