Happy 55th birthday to World Series hero Joe Carter

Carter -- a five-time All-Star -- enjoyed a 16-year MLB career predominantly comprised of six seasons with the Indians and seven with the Blue Jays. He belted 396 career home runs, won two Silver Slugger Awards and earned MVP votes in eight seasons.
His career highlights didn't stop when he officially hung 'em up, as he snagged a foul ball at a game in 2010 and knocked a homer over the wall in the 2012 Celebrity All-Star Game in Kansas City.
But, really, we're all here to marvel at the incredible end to Game 6 of the 1993 World Series, when Carter stepped to the dish and hit a walk-off blast over the left-field wall to secure a second straight Commissioner's Trophy for the Blue Jays:
