Madness descended between Angels and Giants when Brandon Crawford was picked off first
Chaos is always lurking. Just beyond the surface of rules, regulations and civil behavior lies madness. Even in baseball.
Caught unaware at first, perhaps staring up at the concourse and thinking about hot dogs, Brandon Crawford took off for second, only to find the base already occupied by Trevor Brown. Brown then tried to take third except, oh drat, Gregor Blanco was already there. <o:p>
And that's where the fun broke out.
Gleeful madness! Madcap glee!
It's also a good example of why Spring Training is held, because baserunning is hard and rundowns may be even harder.
