Before Giants shortstop Abiatal Avelino stepped up to the plate for his first Major League at-bat against the Brewers on Saturday, he showed off a stretching routine that was not only unique, but also quite impressive:
In addition to loosening Avelino's legs, we suspect doing this yoga-like pose also helps center him for his upcoming at-bat. We can't decide which is more impressive about it, that he was able to go down so slowly or that he was able to get back up at all.
