Giancarlo Stanton channeled his inner MC Hammer with this interview outfit

On Wednesday afternoon, before the Marlins' game against the Braves, Giancarlo Stanton and Christian Yelich appeared on Intentional Talk to talk about the feline sensation who took Marlins Park by storm the previous night. Before they could even discuss that, though, Stanton's outfit created its own story.
Stanton looked like he had been plucked out of a line of backup dancers in an early-'90s music video with the combination of his hat, chains, and King Tut-inspired pants. Just throw him in the background of a vintage Bell Biv DeVoe shoot and no one will miss a beat. Yelich knew what to show off, anyway.

According to Stanton and Yelich, the outfit actually belonged to the third outfielder of the Marlins' talented trio, Marcell Ozuna. The cat stole the show, but Ozuna belted a pair of homers and drove in six runs during the Marlins' 8-4 victory over the Braves.
In celebration, Ozuna knew exactly how he wanted to look on Wednesday. "This is actually what Ozuna decided to wear to the stadium today -- hits two homers in The Show yesterday and busts out this hat and these shorts," Yelich said.
Stanton was inspired. "[Ozuna]'s feeling big-time, so he brought out all the gear, and I need to rake tonight. So I'm Ozuna for the day," he said.

There's no way of knowing if it made a difference, but sure enough, Stanton did indeed channel Ozuna later on by going deep twice against the Braves.
It's a good look, Giancarlo. Wear it every day.
