After another homer, Giancarlo Stanton's power surge shows no signs of slowing down
Thursday night, he once again showed off his capabilities with a 422-foot homer during the 3-2 loss to the Nationals because that's what he does best.
The four-time All-Star is currently boasting a .275/.368/.614 line with a career-best and league-leading 39 home runs. He's hit six of those in his last seven games … and 18 over the last 30. Oh, and he's on pace to hit nearly 60 this season.
No. 39 for Stanton who is on brink of being second @Marlins player ever to reach 40. Could set club record during homestand

We just barely returned from All-Star Weekend, so there's still plenty of baseball left for him to add some more numbers to his name. Just like his teammate, second baseman
"It's very enjoyable to watch him have the success," Dietrich said. "Now it's like every single night he's homering and powering our lineup. Really it's been fun to watch. He's the catalyst. He's what makes our lineup really go, and he drives in the runs. He's going to hit a lot more before the season's over, I promise you."
