Georgia native Zack Wheeler makes 'home' debut in Atlanta

He may be pitching for the Mets, but Zack Wheeler made his Major League debut at "home" in Atlanta on Thursday. Wheeler is from Dallas, Ga., and hundreds of his local fans made the short trip to Turner Field.

Sitting in the front row were Barry and Elaine Wheeler, Zach's parents.

"Pretty neat that he gets to debut in his hometown," said Barry. "Hundreds of people are here to watch him. I even told the younger fans to be extra loud and rowdy!"
