George Springer joined the Houston Children's Chorus to surprise Hurricane Harvey victims
The holiday season is a time of joy, and
Earlier this week, Springer teamed up with the Houston Children's Chorus to pay a visit to Houstonians displaced by Hurricane Harvey. Though the kids did most of the singing, the Astros outfielder contributed in other ways. First he helped lead the chorus through a last-minute rehearsal:

And second -- and perhaps most importantly -- he brought his presence.

Whether it was taking time to pose for pictures, giving out some hugs or sharing some words, Springer helped make this holiday season a time of joy for everyone.
