Francisco Lindor couldn't quite muscle up for an All-Star Game homer, so he did some push-ups

After a pregame scare of sorts, Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor was thrilled to get into the All-Star Game, which he entered as a pinch-hitter for Manny Machado in the sixth inning. Having muscled up for more homers at the All-Star break than all but two shortstops in MLB history (Alex Rodriguez and Ernie Banks), Lindor hoped to celebrate the occasion with yet another long ball.
Instead, the Brewers' Jeremy Jeffress got Lindor to fly out to Charlie Blackmon in center field, ending the inning. So, when Lindor jogged out to shortstop to start the home half of the sixth, he put in a little extra work to improve his power:

With enthusiasm and dedication like that, Lindor will have his first career All-Star Game homer in no time.

Lindor's spirit wasn't broken by the out either, as he delivered an entertaining half-inning while mic'd up for FOX:
