Foul balls smashed two South Atlantic League press box windows at nearly the same time
Lightning may never strike the same place twice, but the same can't be said of foul balls. Friday night, foul balls broke the press box windows of two parks in the South Atlantic League within the span of 10 minutes.
The action got started in Kannapolis at Intimidators Stadium where an errant baseball got in the way of a great view of a June sunset:

Yes #Intimidators won the SAL Northern Division First Half Championship, but that's no excuse for @shorebirds to go around smashing windows. pic.twitter.com/fpjvNipwC2

Just minutes later, the Lakewood BlueClaws found themselves the next victim in the ring of foul ball vandalism making its way through the South Atlantic League's Northern Division.

While this is likely nothing more than a random alignment of unrelated events, the other teams of the South Atlantic League would do well to stay vigilant for foul balls through the remainder of the weekend. Better safe than sorry.
