Florida State's Jessie Warren turned an incredible double play in the Women's College World Series
One of the incredible things about a postseason or tournament is how often an entire season's worth of games seems to get defined by one huge play. In Monday night's Game 1 of the Women's College World Series Final, Florida State may have had that play.
Despite holding Washington scoreless through six innings, the Seminoles held just a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 7th. Huskies second baseman Taryn Aglee singled to lead off the inning. The next batter tried to advance her on a bunt, but Jessie Warren wasn't having any of it:

FSU hung on for the 1-0 win and put itself one win away from the first national championship in program history. If it can collect that final victory, Warren's diving catch could well be remembered as the play that made it happen.
