Everyone and their mothers think Royals coach Rusty Kuntz looks like Robert Redford
Everyone thinks Rusty Kuntz looks like Robert Redford
With the postseason dominating every conversation at every water cooler in every office in America, players and coaches for the participating teams (and the broadcasters covering them) who were already prominant figures in baseball circles get some added exposure as the rest of the country tunes in when the stakes are higher.
The result is a flurry of celebrity lookalike claims and doppelganger tweets that can sometimes become so pervasive that they infiltrate the clubhouses, like when Jake Peavy admitted that he knew everyone thinks he looks like actor Jeremy Renner.
This year's bet for best celebrity doppelgangers? Royals first base coach Rusty Kuntz and The Natural himself, actor Robert Redford.
Don't believe us? Check out the tweets:

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get right to work on a screenplay for a sequel to The Natural where Hobbs is welcomed back into baseball and coaches first base for an exciting group of young men who steal bases and bunt their way through the MLB postseason.
Turtle plays Eric Hosmer and Danny McBride will have to shave his head to play Billy Butler. It practically writes itself. Thanks for the moneies, Hollywood.
