Eugenio Suarez's double almost hit a bird lounging on the warning track

Animals that find their way onto the field during games tend to be credited with rally-producing powers. It doesn't matter the variety of the animal. The Cardinals had a rally squirrel in the 2011 NLDS, the Marlins had a rally cat last season and the Tigers have a rally goose this year.
The Reds entered Thursday night's game against the Brewers having won nine of their previous 10 games. They may have found themselves a rally animal to call their own in the bottom of the first inning when third baseman Eugenio Suarez hit an RBI double to the warning track and nearly hit a bird:

While Suarez's bird did not cause a stoppage of play like other rally animals, it certainly got as much of a scare as the others who had to experience being chased by humans.
Fortunately, this bird was able to get out of the way of the double because we've seen what happens when a bird can't avoid a flying baseball:

Hopefully the Reds' rally bird finds its place in the lore of superstition along with its other rally animal brethren.
