Eric Thames went shopping for swords in Japan but wound up holding an adorable hedgehog instead
There are times when words fail us, such as describing the sight of the sun cresting over the mountains or the love you have for a child. Or, in today's scenario, when the marvelously muscled Eric Thames holds a tiny hedgehog.
While in Tokyo for the Japan All-Star Series that will begin on Nov. 9 in the Tokyo Dome, the Brewers slugger was out looking for "knives and swords" (as one does) when he stumbled upon a hedgehog cafe. And how can one resist the siren's call of the prickly porcine?
Also, hold on -- what? There's such thing as a hedgehog cafe? Dear Eric Thames: Please bring this concept back to the States.
