Prepare yourself for Evan Longoria, Giants third baseman, with an adorable Little League flashback
On Wednesday, the Giants got themselves an early Christmas gift by acquiring Evan Longoria in a trade with the Rays. The move bolsters San Francisco's lineup and puts an anchor down at third base, which was a position of need for the Giants heading into the offseason.
Longoria is a Southern California native, having been born in Downey and, eventually, being a distinguished alum from California State University Long Beach's rich baseball program. Of course, baseball fans have only ever known "Longo" in a Rays uniform, as they're the only team he's known since being selected No. 3 by the team in the 2006 Draft.
Seeing him in a Giants jersey might take some getting used to ... but there is this:

If you're curious, Longoria, who now finds himself caught up in the NL West rivalry between the Giants and the Dodgers, was asked about his fan allegiance while growing up:
Longoria quick to say that growing up in SoCal he was probably more an Angels fan.

With all that out of the way, now we just wait until the day Longoria runs out to the hot corner in a Giants jersey for the first time ...
