Ender Inciarte broke a lot of Mets fans hearts by robbing Yoenis Cespedes of a walk-off homer

In the heat of a Wild Card race, every game is huge for the Mets. So when Yoenis Cespdedes stepped to the plate with two on, two out and the team trailing the Braves by one in the bottom of the ninth, it was a crucial at-bat. Swinging on an 0-1 fastball, the Mets' star drove a ball to deep right-center field. Every fan in Queens thought they'd be going home happy, their team a game better in the Wild Card standings. 
Unfortunately for the Citi Field faithful, Ender Inciarte was also there to rob a home run and give the Braves the 4-3 victory. 

This was a plenty difficult grab beyond just, you know, making a leaping grab on a screaming liner with the game on the line. Inciarte ran a Statcast™-measured 104 feet to make the snag:

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Inciarte's robbery is also only the third theft of a game-tying or winning home run in the 9th inning or later this year. 
Milwaukee's Keon Broxton protected a one-run lead when he robbed Anthony Rizzo of a game-tying shot earlier this month: 

And Nomar Mazara took a game-winning blast away from Todd Frazier back in April: 

While the others were plenty nice to watch, they didn't happen in the thick of a postseason race. Which makes Inciarte's catch all the more incredible.
