Edwin Encarnacion launched the Blue Jays to the ALDS and was rewarded with a giant plush parrot

Edwin Encarnacion is known for two things: hitting a whole bunch of dingers, and taking his imaginary pet parrot for a walk after hitting said dingers. For the unaware, behold:

This season, however, the #Edwing phenomenon erupted. There were inflatable dugout parrots. There were stuffed dugout parrots (just remember that they require multiple feedings per day). Wherever there were homers, there were sacrifices made to the Parrot Gods.
So it's only fitting that, on the occasion of Encarnacion's biggest dinger of the season -- a triumphant walk-off blast to send the Jays to a 5-2 win over the Orioles in the AL Wild Card Game -- his Blue Jays teammates greeted him at home plate with the biggest parrot of the season. We mean that literally:

That's left fielder and Keeper of the Birds Ezequiel Carrera bringing a giant plush parrot to the party with him. Carerera went 2-for-4 in the game -- tying things up at two with an RBI single in the 5th. Even Joe Carter took notice of Encarnacion's game-winner, and he knows a thing about three-run walk-off homers for Toronto:

Next up for the Blue Jays? A date with the Rangers in the AL Division Series (remember them?), with Game 1 set for Thursday at 4:30 p.m. ET on TBS. But while the Bat Flip Heard 'Round the World may have been the iconic image from last postseason, it'll be hard for anybody to top this:
