Meet the Rangers' newest farm team: The Down East Wood Ducks
I'm sorry, but I simply must ask the question: How much wood would a Wood Duck duck if a Wood Duck could duck wood?
We may get the answer this season as the new Class A Carolina League affiliate of the Rangers, the Down East Wood Ducks of Kinston, N.C., unveiled their logo on Wednesday. I hope you like ducks using branches as baseball bats (who doesn't?) because that's what the Wood Ducks have to offer:

They won't be the only team in the Carolina League to have some ball-playing water fowl. The Wood Ducks will be competing with the Cubs-affiliated Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
