Joc Pederson put on his best home run trot ... for a double off the wall
He tossed his bat aside and took a quick glance in the dugout to see what his teammates thought of the moonshot. And then, all of a sudden, it bounced off the wall. It was not a home run. A look of terror swept across the center fielder's face:
Because of his speed, Pederson was still able to get to second for an RBI double -- making the score, 5-2, Dodgers. Still, the Statcast™ baserunning numbers were very fun to look at:
Pederson, home-to-first: 7.5 seconds

Melvin Upton did a home-to-home in 14.85 seconds.
The Dodgers held on to win the game, 6-5, and will face the Nats in an NLDS-deciding Game 5 on Thursday at 5 p.m. ET on FS1.
