#DIDIsDEEDs were back for a holiday edition as Didi Gregorius took over NYC in a big way
On a Thursday morning in July, you could spot Sir Didi passing out free subway swipes around New York, snapping some photos and handing out umbrellas. He also made some burrito bowls at Dos Toros, because why not.
On Friday, he started his day at New York-Presbyterian Hospital visiting with patients, and there was no shortage of smiles:
Start spreading the news! @Yankees short-stop @DidiG18 hit it out of the park today with our patients at #NYP Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and there was no shortage of smiles or holiday cheer. #DIDIsDeeds @KidsAtColumbia pic.twitter.com/5bDjcLMMOJ

He then took to the streets of NYC, where he interacted with fans -- one of whom was even sporting a Mets hat.
Everyone is a @Yankees fan today. 😂😂 #DIDIsDEEDs pic.twitter.com/2TEoOVnh8z

Gregorius handed out Yankees beanies to multiple people that were hanging around, giving out hugs, high-fives and smiles.
