David Ross found some time in his busy schedule to hunt for Easter eggs with his family

After a 15-year career as a backup catcher, David Ross retired after winning a World Series title with the Cubs in 2016. To say he's taken advantage of all the free time he has without the rigors of a 162-game baseball season would be an understatement.
In addition to appearing on Dancing with the Stars, working on a book about his Major League career and throwing out a ceremonial first pitch, Ross still makes sure to make time to be a good dad. Saturday, he joined his family for a simple Easter egg hunt at home.

A quiet, relaxing retirement seems to be foreign to Ross. So, while he was able to enjoy a casual holiday activity with his family this weekend, we're confident and hopeful that he will continue his active post-playing career.
