David Robertson says the strangest thing he has ever eaten is ... dog food

Long gone are the days when ballplayers would drink a few beers, eat a hamburger and some ice cream and be ready to play the next day. Now they treat their bodies like delicate Italian automobiles or extremely athletic Faberge eggs. Players have personal chefs and teams have nutritionists on staff to serve them pure protein fuel.
Enter the everyman's hero, David Robertson. He's eaten dog food.

Now, Robertston certainly has a point. Why would you feed a dog -- your best friend -- food that you wouldn't eat? But after briefly looking up the ingredients to a popular brand of dog food and seeing "poultry by-product meal" as the second ingredient, well, I may have to rethink that whole idea.
