Dave Roberts couldn't help but say hello to his pals on the 2004 Red Sox before their Game 2 first pitch
The 2004 Red Sox were a special bunch -- ending the franchise's prolonged World Series drought after staging a still-hard-to-believe comeback from down 3-0 in the ALCS to the Yankees.
With the Sox back in the Fall Classic, members of that vaunted '04 club assembled at Fenway Park for Game 2 on Wednesday night to toss a group ceremonial first pitch.
Pedro Martinez was there:

It was a scene.
Of course, much has been made of the fact that one of the team's comeback in the ALCS, Dave Roberts, is over in the opposing dugout as manager of the Dodgers. His pregame preparations prevented Roberts from taking part in the first pitch, but he made sure to say hello anyway:
Always a legend here. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/jtm7TiSuxY

Hard to not do that, given the circumstances.
