Dave Roberts' bobblehead night was a family affair with his daughter singing the national anthem

It was Dave Roberts Bobblehead giveaway night in Los Angeles Thursday, but there was more than just a figurine to collect of the 10-year MLB veteran.
Some of the on-field festivities were those that played close to Roberts' heart.
The reigning NL Manager of the Year could listen to the musical sounds of his own daughter Emme, who sang the National Anthem. His son, Cole, threw out the ceremonial first pitch -- a strike.

It was truly a family affair before the Dodgers beat the D-backs, 5-4, on a walk-off single, with Roberts beaming with pride as his children celebrated his special night.

After the game, Roberts told Ken Gurnick of MLB.com that it was the perfect day.
"The way it started, my daughter singing the anthem and my son throwing a perfect strike to me and winning in that fashion," he said. "It was a perfect game. I'm going to pop some bubbly right now. And I got the Bobblehead [Night], that's right. I didn't know she was going to go for it [high note], she went for it. She was all in."

Roberts was scheduled to have a bobblehead night when he was played for the Dodgers in 2004, but he was traded to the Boston Red Sox at the deadline beforehand.
It seems the Dodgers are making sure he makes up for the lost time.
