It sure looks like this baseball player chose the middle of a baseball game to shave off his mustache
Eagle-eyed baseball fans watching Friday night's Blue Jays-Tigers game might have noticed something unusual. Something strange. Something unexpected. Something that, while a minor detail pertaining to one player's physical appearance, was amusing to see.
Toronto catcher Danny Jansen first appeared in the game with a mustache, but then later in the game the mustache was gone. Here's proof:

I don't pretend to know why Jansen opted to shave in the middle of a game, but I respect it. Especially since he came up in the sixth inning with his fresh, clean-shaven new look and ripped a two-run single:

It clearly worked. That's the only explanation.
