A Cubs fan wanted to wear his cap to work ahead of Game 7, so the team wrote his boss a letter
In addition to being arguably Twitter's preeminent pun master, Adam Jacobi is a diehard Cubs fan. And, like any diehard Cubs fan, he's counting down the hours until Game 7 tonight (7 p.m. ET air time on FOX I 8 p.m. ET game time, if you're wondering).
But alas, there are things to do between now and then -- pesky obligations like, say, going to work. Luckily though, Jacobi had an idea: If he had to spend hours at the office pretending to do things that are not thinking about the Cubs, couldn't he at least wear his Cubs hat? Anticipating that his employer might have something to say about that, he decided to enlist the team itself:
Maggie I need to wear a Cubs hat at my desk tomorrow or they might have to forfeit, please tell my boss this

Ever an organization of the people, the Cubs Twitter account was more than happy to help -- with a personalized and extremely official letter:

Note to any and all employers of Cubs fans: Bryzzo GIFs are totally worth it.
