Witness Cubs fans in Wrigleyville and Progressive Field going through every emotion during Game 7

Well, it happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series.
With a dramatic, at times totally absurd (and rain-delayed) 10-inning 8-7 win over the Indians, the Cubs finally put an end to their 108-year World Series drought. 
For fans, this was quite an emotional experience. Baseball is already filled with soaring highs, frustrating lows and everything in between, the ups and downs of Game 7 (and this whole postseason run, really) more or less perfectly encapsulated the essence of this sport at its very best. 
Game 7 may have been played at Progressive Field in Cleveland, but back home in Wrigleyville, Cubs fans gathered together once again around the Friendly Confines to take in the evening. 

Inside some of the many bars in the surrounding area, the vibe was amped up -- easy to understand after Dexter Fowlerstarted things off with a leadoff homer: 

But then, as the game grew in intensity, the Indians mounted a comeback and the score tightened, those cheers and excited glances turned to more concerned looks: 

Of course, plenty of Cubs fans made the trip to Cleveland to take in the game firsthand, and they brought some definite spirit with them: 

And even took selfies with famous fans, including Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder:

When game was over, the final out recorded by Kris Bryant, the scene was rather electric by the Cubs dugout:
