David Cross sang 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' so poorly that he apologized to the Wrigley crowd

The seventh-inning stretch performance of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" has been a beloved Wrigley Field tradition since the days of the great Harry Caray. The 105-year-old song has certainly been mangled before -- Ozzy Osbourne, Mike Ditka, we're looking at you -- but comedian David Cross earned himself a place in the TMOTTB Hall of Shame on Saturday.

We give Cross a lot of credit for the self-deprecating apology he offered the crowd, but maybe next time he'll allow Tobias Fünke to perform instead:
