A college player punctuated his walk-off grand slam with a bat flip into the heavens

It's Feb. 28, exactly zero MLB games have been played in 2016, and thanks to Texas A&M - Texarkana's Kenneth Fudge, we might already have our bat flip of the year. Having already hit two dingers earlier in his team's game against Jarvis Christian, Fudge stepped to the plate in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded and the score tied, 3-3. And then he did this:

In his defense, it was only practical: After blasting a walk-off grand slam into the stratosphere, the bat had to be immediately cast in bronze and fashioned into a statue.
