College dorm/baseball stadium allows players to live at the ballpark
Cornerstone University builds baseball stadium dorm
Since the dawn of time, baseball's hardest workers have been heralded for the time they spend at the ballpark. Tony Gwynn was revered for all the time he spent in the video room. Roy Halladay's work ethic is the stuff of legend.
And, now, the Cornerstone University Golden Eagles will be in similar company because they're literally living at the ballpark.
Cornerstone's Central Hall in Grand Rapids, Mich., houses 96 students and touts a "hospitality suite" on the third floor that overlooks the baseball stadium.
