Chris Archer is a hero for tweeting this incredible yearbook picture of Commissioner Rob Manfred
On Wednesday evening, it was announced that the Baseball Writers' Association of America voted to elect Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza into the Baseball Hall of Fame. On Thursday, it became vividly apparent that the Hall would need to begin construction on a new wing dedicated entirely to housing this incredible photo of MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred:
My friends dad went to Harvard with Rob Manfred. So, that means I have year book pics of the commish. pic.twitter.com/JRKl2BTcgx

The above image is approximately as rare as a mint-condition T206 1909 Honus Wagner card. Back in 2014 -- around the time he was elected as MLB's 10th commissioner -- Manfred's Wikipedia page didn't even include his actual birthday (which has since been verified as Sept. 28, 1958). That makes Archer's tracking down of the photo particularly impressive.
A few hours later, Commissioner Manfred commended Archer on his investigative skills:
I knew how resourceful and crafty @ChrisArcher42 is on the mound; didn't know it extended to college yearbooks. Well done, Chris. - Rob

And, while we're trotting out photos from prominent baseball figures' pasts, here's an old-timey image of Archer. Ya know, for solidarity:
