On the day Jon Stewart announces he's leaving 'The Daily Show,' we recall his Mets fandom

On Tuesday, Jon Stewart announced he's leaving "The Daily Show" later this year. Stewart has been a hallmark of the late-night circuit for 16 years and one of the most beloved (and trusted) fake news broadcasters in real news history.
And through it all, the NYC native has never been shy about his affinity for the Mets.   
He's shown Al Leiter-esque intensity during ceremonial first pitches:
